This series of drawings tarted at a special moment of my life. When my daughter was born. I didn't have as much time as before to draw and paint so I started to make small drawings with pencils in a very short time, less than 15 minutes each. The series has grown bigger with the passing time, and the title for it just came up by itself, "pauvrésie" which in French is a mix between two words"pauvreté" (poorness) and "poésie" (poetry). This are drawings about the human being,  his weakness but also his strengh,  without any social or political judgement, it's more about our everyday emotion, we can feel good and then down, and we somehow suffer from this condition.
I must also admit that this series has a lot to do to with Goya's Caprisios,  in which I digged a lot of inspiration.
